Hunter Girl's Reunion

So if you have ever been to Lancaster, you know when you celebrate a wedding anniversary, you have to have a "Mock Wedding". Well, we did and these players were totally incredible. John played the preacher, Nancy played Floyd, Becky played Peggy, Bob played Eleanor and Valorie played Orielle. We kept looking but never did see him. Where in the world was Chuck Hunter?

Now isn't this an image you would like to wake up to, John, Bob and Valorie, well ok, Valorie is not so bad, but look at these guys, where is the world is Chuck Hunter?

Check this out, a retired State Trooper and a Standing Sheriff, Where in the world is Chuck Hunter?

Venetian, Palazzo and Aliante

We went to the Venetian to meet up with Pat and Stephanie, and had some time so we went to the front desk area, it is very opulant as you can see. Phyllis took many pictures

My Nephew Pat and new wife Stephanie are "honeymooning" in Las Vegas, and since we didn't attend their wedding, we got to meet Stehpanie for the first time today. Here they are with Phyllis & Glen in front of a fountain at the new casino Palazzo.

Dinner at our house.

Glen, Lon, Phyllis, Stephanie & Pat after dinner at our house. This was our first time to meet Stephanie, so we had a great time getting to know her.

Sunday Morning in Aliante

This shot turned out very good, I was doing it for Amy & Justin. For those of you who don't know, they have a cabin up North and they have an outdoor shower. Grandma Phyllis couldn't believe we had one in Las Vegas. When it's 115 in August, it's a very nice way to cool off in the evening (with a bathing suit on).

Sunrise on Mt. Charleston from our patio

We got up early and went to church this morning, then on to one of our favorite casinos for breakfast, and now we are home, and as you can see, the people from Northern Minnesota are soaking up some rays. It is a beautiful day in Las Vegas.

During "Happy Hour", we watched the sunset over the mountains in Aliante, very impressive, we think, of course we had about a 2 hour happy hour, so maybe it wasn't so great.

This is a photo for Amy & Justin, to show that we have outdoor showers in North Las Vegas

Lon & Mary Jo at Red Rock Canyon

For you Northerner's, it was 70 degrees in Las Vegas today, very enjoyable weather and a great day for sight seeing

Glen & Phyllis sitting on a Rock in the Canyon

Phyllis & Glen came to visit so I tried sending pictures to their children and they would not go through, so I created another blog. Isn't this a great picture of them in Red Rock Canyon?
